Asian Mint Nominated Restaurant of the Year at CultureMap Tastemaker Awards 2020

It’s my absolute pleasure to announce that my restaurant, Asian Mint, is one of the nominees for Restaurant of the Year at the 2020 CultureMap Tastemaker Awards. I’m thrilled and honored by this nomination. Thank you, CultureMap, for considering Asian Mint.

And thank you, my Mint Fanatics and supporters, for backing me up all this time. The Asian Mint team and I won’t be able to do all that we have done without you.

The CultureMap Tastemaker Awards highlights the best of the DFW food scene

The CultureMap Tastemaker Awards celebrates everything that’s good in the restaurant and bar scene of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. CultureMap, one of the most respected lifestyle news sources in Texas, has created this event and hosts it every year. Its purpose is to honor the energy driving the DFW food scene, as well as the creativity of its movers and shakers.

The Tastemaker Awards recognizes businesses in the DFW food industry in different categories. These categories are: Restaurant of the Year, Best New Restaurant, Neighborhood Restaurant of the Year, Best Queso, Bar of the Year, Brewery of the Year, and Wine Program of the Year. Individual performers are acknowledged as well through these categories: Chef of the Year, Rising Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, and Bartender of the Year.

CultureMap’s Awards Night Party set for July 30

CultureMap will be announcing the winners of the Tastemaker Awards at its annual party on July 30, 2020. The shindig will be at the Fashion Industry Gallery and will be divided into two parts. The first part is the food and drinks sampling, with a yummy spread to be prepared by the participating awards nominees. The second part is none other than the awaited ceremony itself.

You’re welcome to join the party. In fact, I encourage you to be there. Tickets are available in two tiers—general admission and VIP. Getting a general admission ticket will let you have a taste of everything the participating nominees have to offer. The price of these tickets ranges from $50 to $75; you’ll also need to shell out $7 if you want valet parking.

The VIP tickets, on the other hand, gives you complimentary valet parking and early admission to the party. You’ll also get access to a VIP-only bar, where you can get special food and drink pairings. A VIP ticket costs from $99 to $125.

You can buy your CultureMap Tastemaker Awards party tickets here. CultureMap will donate part of the ticket sales to the North Texas Food Bank.

I’m truly delighted for Asian Mint to be nominated Restaurant of the Year. It’s really an honor.

See y’all at the party!
