Restaurant Unstoppable: a font of knowledge and inspiration for restaurateurs
The podcast Restaurant Unstoppable shines the spotlight on the restaurant industry and its leaders. In every episode of this podcast, Eric Cacciatore sits down with restaurant owners, chefs, and other individuals who are moving and shaking the industry. Eric looks into the secrets behind their success and the strategies they use to maintain this success, no matter what challenges they face. He also lets the interviewee share the insights they’ve learned through their years of running their businesses. Right now, Restaurant Unstoppable contains some 670 or so episodes in its archive.
In hosting the podcast, Eric aims to educate and inspire people wanting to start their own restaurant business. It also encourages restaurant owners who are facing challenges with their business or wanting to take it to the next level. Additionally, the podcast feeds Eric’s own dream of opening his own restaurant.
Sharing the story of Asian Mint on Restaurant Unstoppable
Eric and I ended up talking about a lot of things regarding Asian Mint on Restaurant Unstoppable. I shared with him how we came up with the Asian Mint concept. I also opened up about the things we went through to open our first location on Forest Lane. Moreover, I told him how we almost closed shop despite being named one of the top new restaurants in Dallas in 2005.
Another thing I did at the show is to give away a few insights I learned through my years of running Asian Mint. These insights touched on the value of being authentic and of having a marketing plan. I also said a few words on connecting with your audience online through social media and embracing the use of technology in running your business. Most importantly, I underscored how vital it is that we raise up new leaders in the culinary world.
